Caesar, or the Caesar Kingdom (シーザー王国, Shīzā Ōkoku), is a country found in the parallel world. It is where nearly all of the events of Parallel Paradise take place in.

Geography

Caesar's territory stretches to a mountain range to the north, the open seas to the south, a river to the east, the desert to the west, and bordered with Elf Forest to the northwest.

Administrative divisions

The kingdom consists of the castle and 5 towns:

• Meese
• Reel
• Sandrio
• Arslayer
• Carnnach

Government

The Caesar Kingdom is an absolute monarchy,^{[citation needed]} solely controlled by the Kokubo as the autocratic ruler and protector of the state. The castle is the residence of the Kokubo, the country's capital and seat of power.

The rest of Caesar is comprised into towns, which are autonomously governed by the Guardians with the sole exception of Arslayer, being under the direct control of the Kokubo.

Demographics

The country is primarily inhabited by female humans, though there were males in the past until the last one passed away about three thousand years prior to Youta's arrival. Youta is the sole living male of the kingdom, but is declared a threat by the Kokubo including the collared women who mated with him. Most, if not all, humans live in towns, due to the present dangers lurking outside the human settlements.

Language

The official language is Caesarian, which is perceived as Japanese by Youta and appears to not have any barrier between the two.

Education

Most of the people are illiterate, as there are little to no schools or teachers to turn to for basic education, and the 20-year life expectancy hindered the passing of the necessary knowledge to the next generation. Consequently, libraries or books have become almost obsolete and countless words were forever lost over time.
